Extremely dissatisfied with the the in-store's return policy. I went Currys at Rochdale on Nov. 24th intending to buy an iPhone 17 Pro Max in Blue, but only Orange was on display/available in-store. I reluctantly bought an iPhone 17 Pro in Blue instead, hoping the screen size would be slightly bigger that the iPhone 13 I was previously using. The Pro was in-store, but not on display.Once home, I realized the phone was too small for me. I had unboxed it but never set it up or used it. I returned to the store the very next day (November 25th) to return it, with the intention of being able to pick/swap for any available Pro Max model/color.I was refused. The staff told me that because the box was opened & because it was in-store and not online purchase, the phone "no longer has value" and they would not accept the return or allow an exchange. I was left stuck with a phone I never wanted and now can't return, all because I opened the box to look at it.A terrible and inflexible policy.
