I price matched an item for a substantial discount, the item on google said free next day delivery if ordered by 9pm yet I was told it would be delivered to the store and allow upto a week ? After a week had passed I contacted customer services who basically said I need to take it up with the store , asking for the stores number or to be put through I was informed customer services don’t hold individual store numbers ? I went to the store and the assistant asked if I wanted her to re submit the order ? No thank you I’d like it sorting out is it too much to ask after waiting over a week ? She called the manager , bish bosh bash there’s one arriving in half an hour from a nearby store ? Thanks much appreciate but why couldn’t this have happened a week ago ? I got the feeling they were pushing me toward a refund due to the amount of the price matched promise difference. Which again wouldn’t b right as the other company offered next day delivery had I not price matched and bought it direct from them ?
