Our nonprofit rescue contacted the company in early September about custom kennel covers for our rescued dogs during their downtime. We were in touch with the sales lead and the general manager. Initially, both individuals were very engaged and accommodating. We exchanged numerous emails covering detailed measurements, drawings, and design concepts. Their enthusiasm led us to believe our project was important, and we relied on their commitment. However, communication completely halted on October 3 without any notice. Despite sending several polite follow-ups over two months, we received no replies or updates. Not even a brief message indicating they could no longer assist. We understand that businesses can get busy or situations can change. A simple note stating, “we’re unable to take on this project” would have sufficed. What is unacceptable is the lack of communication after extensive information gathering and design requests. We relied on the company's commitment and delayed reaching out to other vendors. Consequently, our dogs are left without the necessary coverage during the coldest months, all due to a lack of communication from a company we trusted. This is not a minor inconvenience; it reflects a failure in basic professionalism and respect. After years in customer service, I can say this is not how reputable companies behave. The disregard shown to a nonprofit working to provide safety for vulnerable animals is something I will not forget. I’m thankful we discovered the true nature of this company early on. These innocent dogs have already endured enough hardship, and they certainly didn’t need another broken promise followed by silence.
