I would say I've been pretty ambivalent about CVS for my 34 years of life up until I was forced to use them. Unbeknownst to me, Walmart booted my cosentyx injection Rxs to CVS specialty pharmacy. All I got was a random text message from CVS in the middle
of the afternoon about it - not a call, nor
email. It said they would call me in a couple days... Almost a month later they called to be like "yo we have the Rx forever, what'cha wanna do about it?"
Didn't try to help find a local CVS, forcibly set up the home delivery - which you have to sign for.
didn't come at all at first bc they ran the wrong Rx - needed loading dose aka first dose, not maintenance doses. So I got it additionally late.
And I was almost late to work waiting on delivery. Luckily my sister was there to sign, as it came right after I left for work.
THEN THEY MADE MY SECOND DELIVERY LATE. Bc they failed to get the pre authorization again after messing it up the first time, making it supposed to arrive today, instead of yesterday, making the medicine less effective AND IM WAITING FOR IT BEFORE WORK AGAIN.
And when asked about it, I was essentially told to go f*** myself.
In terms of tracking it says "9:30am- end of day," essentially. so, anytime, who knows - the customer service agent was SOOOO surprised that's the only info I get.
Horrible service, but it is AMERICA, not really CVS, they exploit the problem & then say oh wellllllllll when you suffer due to THEIR mistakes.
My doctor and I did everything right, but they literally DO NOT CARE about you, your medication, your life, your job, your schedule.
