Don't use cycle trader

Payed my 30+ dollars to list my motorcycle for 2 weeks received 2 scam calls and one super insulting offer of 1000 dollars for a 6000 dollar bike ,big waste a time and money, dont make the same mistake I did

Two successful purchases, but many non-responses

I have bought 2 bikes on CT, one private and one dealer. Both good experiences and great deals. My issue is the lack of response from many private sellers in the process of finding the 2 bikes I bought. Not sure if it is sellers not taking the offer down after it has been sold or just not checking their messages. In one case I sent multiple messages with no response and the offer is still up and they have dropped the price. Never, sold a bike here, but it seems like offers should expire if there is no seller response.

I listed my dirt bike on cycle trader. Literally scammer after scammer trying to buy my bike. Not one legit customer.They have no protection against scammers whatsoever. Don’t waste your money listing a bike here.

Constant Technical Difficulties

Constantly has technical issues with sub categories.When you enter your zip code and search for a specific model, it simply doesn't list the specific model you're looking for. To say this is frustrating is an understatement.

Waste of money

Waste of money. Bike at very low price and had only one contact in 2 weeks and person wasn’t a serious buyer. They constantly hit you up for more money. Not a good option.

Rep off.

I purchased an ad for 80.. which included 1 photo and 1 video if your a member of YouTube or Vimeo. I am not. You can’t chat or call for advise. Finally after 30 minutes I spoke with someone who said to send a video to the text I sent you or email. I did both. I was charged 3 times One for 199.00 and another for 189.00. I contacted my bank for fraudulent fees. The fees have not been returned and the video is nowhere to be found. I now haw a lawyer.

Their wed site sucks. Constant problems updating photos, profile not updating, changes not being saved etc. Uneceptable for what they charge they cant get their web site to work correctly.
