I bought the Veronica sofa from Dako (online order). The only real positive is that it’s quick and easy to assemble.
Unfortunately, the comfort is a huge disappointment. On the product page it says: “This sofa is made with high-quality foam and wave springs, providing excellent comfort and support for daily use.” In my case this feels completely untrue — the sofa is extremely hard, like sitting on a wooden board. I’ve had firm sofas before, but this one is by far the hardest.
Also, the colour I received doesn’t match the photos on the website — it looks different in real life than advertised.
Another problem is the returns policy: return shipping is on the customer, and they say returns are only accepted in the original packaging. But how is a customer supposed to properly check comfort/quality without unpacking it and damaging the cardboard packaging? This puts buyers in a very unfair position.
I’m giving one extra star for the delivery experience — the Polish driver who delivered it was polite and helpful. Other than that, I’m not happy with the product and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone expecting a soft, comfortable sofa.
