I have been trying to convert my pension over to a self-managed plan. This requires identification documents which I understand. However, rather than asking for all of the documentation and forms up front, it required three separate processes each several weeks apart even though Danica had full understanding of my residency and tax status. Why couldn't all documentation be asked for at once rather than drip fed and drawing out the process for an additional two months. They failed on both a technical and a human level. This incompetence at even simple process management, combined with their poor returns and fund management fees, and I don't see many reasons to stay a customer there.
