I decided to open a new account and only had the choice of doing this by post or visiting a branch I unfortunately went to a branch where I was told that I would need an appointment, No mention of this on line Or to fill in a lengthy form. The assistant was Not friendly and put me off this Society for LifeI decided to go to another Society and opened an account without a problem and will give my savings to them as the Darlington building society didn't want it !!!!!Following your reply 20 hours ago, I will not be giving you my full details as I will never contact Darlington building society again Following my experience. You should give excellent service to All of your customers or do more monitoring of your branch staff
