I discovered Dash Car Sales on the Motors.co.uk website whilst looking for the perfect replacement for my 2001 VW Passat. I also checked out the same listing on their own very good DashCarsLoughborough.co.uk website.The car I found was a very clean 2018 Skoda Octavia which seemed to match my requirements, I was aided with 19 very good photographs and an excellent detailed description of the car, its features and history.As I lived about 2 hours from Loughborough, I called their office and spoke with Keith to discuss the car and options to collect the car should I decide to buy.I had planned to sell my VW privately and bring a friend to drive the VW back while I drive the Skoda. However, Keith suggested that he take the VW in trade also making the whole process much easier. He asked some questions about my VW and we came to a mutual agreement for two days hence. Upon arrival, Keith welcomed me, offered and made a cup of freshly ground coffee. We sat to review the paperwork and he suggested that he take the VW for a test drive while I take the Skoda for the same.Previously I had verified online what the expected retail price range would be for the Skoda based on model, age and condition. Honestly, the car was listed at the low end of the trade recommendations which I thought very fair, especially when Keith offered me a very reasonable trade-in value for the VW. We struck a deal and the whole process took just 1 hour.Keith made the whole experience easy and reassuring, I attribute that to his friendly personality and obvious experience in the car trade. Based upon my experience and despite the distance involved, I would most certainly consider buying my next car from Dash Car Sales, in part due to the very good selection of used vehicles I witnessed.My thanks to Keith and Dash Cars.
