One star is far too generous for this company. They will literally take your money, sell you a faulty car, and when you send it back, they will not give you your money back but try to resell the faulty car. Save your money and stay safe.

My daughter recently purchased a Fiat 500C from Dash Cars and I must say that the whole experience was a pleasure - no shiny showroom, shiny-suited sales staff, pot-plants and so on - just great staff, willingness to help and honest approach. My daughter traded in her cherished VW Polo which she had owned for six years and a mutually agreeable deal was struck. Overall, a great car, great staff and great experience all round.
I recently purchased a Ford Focus from Dash Cars and was extremely pleased with the service I received. Both Steve and Keith were very helpful and informative throughout the process. They went the extra mile to ensure the car was in excellent condition and that everything was as it should be. Steve, in particular, was kind, professional, and nothing was too much trouble for him. I highly rate this garage and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a quality car Theresa Reidy
If I could give this company zero stars - I would. From the moment I stepped through the door, it was clear that professionalism, competence, and basic customer service are foreign concepts here. Both Keith and Steve were unhelpful, dismissive, didn’t seem to want to listen, and seemed more interested in avoiding work than actually assisting a paying customer. The car which was bought for my 21st (Grey Citroen Ds3) which I had for one day went into Limp Mode and the engine light came on — this is completely unacceptable for a vehicle they claimed had been “fully inspected” and was promised everything was going to be perfect for me when I picked it up as I live away from my parents. When I sent it back for repairs as it was underwarranty , the situation somehow got worse. Delays stretched from days into weeks with no explanation, no updates, and no urgency. I had to chase them down just to get the most basic information. It was like pulling teeth every time I asked a simple question. I was promised over and over again I was going to get the car back the following week. I’m now a month down the line and I still haven’t seen the car. I was offered another car (VO65 OMB, black Citroen Ds3) which I accepted as I was in desperate need of a car as I’m a student nurse living away from home working in A&E. I was promised that they were going to deliver this car 3 days after they had it in their garage as they were going to MOT this vehicle and change the wet belt. Two weeks later still nothing, no phone calls, no apologies, and still no car, and even still no MOT on the car! We asked for a refund in which they said they had no funds available as they had just restocked on vehicles, and that they would need to make a sale before a refund is considered. Their complete lack of communication and accountability is staggering. They clearly do not care once they’ve made the sale, and their service department is either overwhelmed, undertrained, or simply doesn’t care. Probably all three. Both Keith and Steve are very rude individuals and they do not care what you have to say on the phone as they talk over you most of the time. This has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I’ve ever had with any businesses. If you value your time, money, and sanity, avoid this company at all costs. They don’t deserve your business at all.
Bin going to Dash Cars for over 10 years,Steve and his team are always so welcoming and Nothing is ever too much. I had a problem with my car and they looked at it there and then and managed to sort it out.Always a pleasant friendly visit. Keep up the good work.
We bought a new car from Dash. They took the time to supply the right car at the right price. Steve even tracked down a new parcel shelf at the companies expense. I have since used Dash for car repairs and am very happy with the service and price too.
I took my car here on new year eve as I noticed a coolant was draining from my car, I was told on the day I needed to pay £97 for them to have a look at it and then to be told the head gasket had gone and needed to be replaced. I booked in for the work to be completed and was told it would take a week to be completed - I waited 3 weeks for my car to be fixed, every time I called I was told I would get a call back and never received one. Every person I spoke to told me a different story about how long this will take and on the third week be told my car hadn’t even had the work started yet? After the work had been completed and I paid another £730 on top of the £97 I had already paid my car needed an MOT to which I took to a different garage in total shock it came back with a coolant leak which Is what I originally booked the car in with at dash cars. I spoke to the garage who did its MOT and they advised this should have been picked up when the head gasket was replaced so I rang back dash cars and asked if they could have a look at it and see if it’s from any of the work they have done and to call me before going anymore work on my car - 4 hours late I rang back for an update to be told they are already working on my car and I needed to pay another £80 when I questioned why they have done the work before speaking to me I was told I was giving the “ lip “ and because I am pestering them they would do it for £30. When I went to collect my car I was then told i was not needed as a customer by the owner to then have the mechanic come out and argue with me I told them I was on a budget so they didn’t check everything… I never once said I was on a budget and I will always happily pay what I need too for my car to be fixed properly. My thoughts are if you are sure your work in completed properly I would not be doing it on the cheap.. Overall the experience of waiting 3 weeks for my car to be half fixed, £900 down & spoken to like rubbish I will take my buisness elsewhere and would advise people stay clear of this garage.
I have waited a year to write this review, as i've bought second hand cars before and have often been disappointed. Especially if you see a list of advisories on the next MOT.When I needed a reliable 2nd hand car asap, due to motor problems with the previous one, I found dash cars on Google. I visited the site where Keith welcomed me. He was very nice and asked me where I needed the car for. He was very knowledgeable and was very honest about which car would be a good fit for me or not. Not for one moment he tried to push an more expensive car, most suggestions were cheaper then the car i was looking at. I've found the right car and the next day it was ready to pick up. After 3 weeks there was a minor issue which Steve fixed on short notice for free. I've been really pleased with the car and after one year the car passed with flying colours. I would advice for anybody who looks for a reliable 2nd hand car to talk to Keith, he will find the car that best meets your needs for a fair price. Thank you both so much for the great service.
