I've been with the service for three months and faced a serious hardware disk failure on my server. WHAT OCCURRED:- Disk failure (hardware issue, not due to user error)- Complete data loss, including customer credentials- Major business disruption and downtime- Server was handling standard applications (low I/O workload)THEIR RESPONSE:- They provided a replacement server (which I appreciated)- However, they completely denied any compensation or service credit- They blamed the RAID 0 configuration, despite the hardware being their responsibility- No acknowledgment of the business impact or any goodwill gestureTHE PROBLEM:While I opted for RAID 0 for performance, hardware failures should fall under the provider's responsibility. A disk shouldn't fail within three months due to a defect, regardless of RAID setup or workload. My server was managing lightweight applications, not heavy I/O tasks. When I requested minimal compensation (even a month’s credit) for the disruption caused by their faulty hardware, it was outright denied.IMPACT:- Lost customer credentials necessitating complete re-authentication- Several hours spent on system restoration- Damage to customer trust- No accountability from the service teamVERDICT:Hardware may function well when operational, but don’t anticipate any support or compensation when their equipment fails. Consider providers with better customer service practices.
