I went to a stand-up comedy show recently at a local venue, and it’s a great way to connect with others. It’s different from the typical speed dating and far more entertaining—until you get picked to go up on stage, that is! I’ve also participated in speed dating events, and I find the gender ratio to be ideal, but the venue changed both times I attended, which confused me a bit.
