I'm feeling quite let down at the moment. I wore this dress fewer than five times and gently handwashed it for the first time. I noticed the neckline seam had come loose and formed a gap of 4 cm. This seems like very poor quality. I'm disappointed because I've treated this dress with care, but now it feels like fast fashion. While the customer service was friendly and offered to cover repair costs, this shouldn't happen after just one wash. I’m waiting for a partial refund, which I find acceptable, but I'm unsure if I’ll shop here again.

We practise slow, handmade fashion. This is the essence of everything at Daughters of India. We release one product at a time when it is complete. This ensures the artisans are free to manage their own hours without production deadlines, providing flexibility to enjoy life at a slower pace. We support the art of hand block printing and sustainably handmade garments that utilise tradition and ritual through ancient practice.
