Have lived in our home for several years now and have experienced several problems you wouldn't expect with a new home. It seems they bought materials that were seconds, i.e., doors that didn't fit in the jams. We have plumbing problems, venting issues with dryer, cheap lighting fixtures, a bent door they tried to fix but didn't, leaking glass shower, squeaky floors, cheap paint, paint overspray on the floors, cracked cement on the garage floor and the patio, and popping of drywall screws on the ceiling. You'd think for after paying over 450k for a house it would be built better. And don't get me started on the warranty service; that's a whole other nightmare! Oh, they promised everyone that we would have a pool then they changed their minds and the subdivision is not going to have a pool. Will tell you anything to sell you a home!
