Update: I received the order today (December 10). Yesterday I received an email from (possibly) a real person at David’s Tea and another autogenerated one, both simply directing me to the shipper’s notification page that it was “out for delivery” for Dec 9 (which it wasn’t.) The notification was no different than what had been happening for the previous 16 days. I am happy not to be out the money and to have the product I ordered, but I won’t order online again given this experience. They need to change their shipping company, at least in Calgary. I am adding to the negative reviews for David’s Tea. I have been a long-time customer and have certain favourite tea blends. I was happy to be supporting a Canadian company. I have stuck with them despite occasional past shipping issues but that has come to an end. I placed an order on Nov 17, which they shipped Nov 18. The parcel arrived in my home city of Calgary on Nov 24. It is now Dec 8. No parcel has been delivered and my attempts to get a resolution from either the shipping company or David’s Tea have been futile. Complaints go by email/website and are answered by AI, which doesn’t give a flip. I am hoping for a refund but given other reviews, I may be out of luck. I hope David’s Tea comes through with some customer service and that they can straighten themselves out to be a viable business. If only they answered complaints as easily as they send out marketing emails….
