All we need is your social security number and access to your bank account to be able to forward you the money... Just click the link and provide the information.Although this most likely is meant to prevent fraud, all alarm-bells are ringing. It is completely absurd! No one should ever just give all these information to any company. It is nervewrecking enough that there are times, where you will have to do it - for instance when you sell/buy a house. Then all you have in the end, is to trust that the realestate agent is taking sufficient (very sufficient) care of these data.I'd rather want to trust the buyer in a single transaction, than to trust my data will forever be secure - where ever and who ever will be able to access them (for eternity). But to give it to a private company, through a (for me unknown) 3rd party company, just by clicking a link send to you without any further ado, is completely absurd. I sincerely hope other people react and wake up before giving out these information just like that.Good luck with a cascade of future identity thefts and so on, "if" (read: when) the data is leaked.I seriously shocked that they can get away with this process...
