The company offers truly impressive projects — the models look realistic, are well detailed, and the step-by-step system with magazines makes the building process convenient even for complex models.The assembly process itself brings a lot of satisfaction, especially for people who are passionate about modeling and collecting.At the same time, the quality of some parts can occasionally be inconsistent. Sometimes certain elements require extra care during installation or a preliminary check, which may create small difficulties during the build.I would also like to highlight the customer support service: in my experience, all defective or damaged parts were replaced without any problems, fairly quickly and without unnecessary questions. This is a big advantage and shows a responsible attitude toward customers.Overall, DeAgostini creates interesting large-scale projects that deliver an excellent final result. I can recommend their models to people who are ready for a long-term building process and who enjoy the journey of creating the model itself.
Really great products, but communication and transparency with delays are non-existant. I've been attempting to get an update on the Ford GT subscription for almost a year. Every time it's "an update will be provided" or "we're working on it." I don't blame support, I don't think they actually know. But a year for a product update is just disrespectful. At this point I've boxed it up and stored it. On the last shipment too.
Would give a negative rating if I could.Do not take their customer service their wordWe ordered the Infinity Gauntlet. We are at shipment 21 at $100 for each shipment. We had some financial difficulties and had to decide if we were going to continue with the gauntlet or buy groceries for our family. I called and talked with them and they assured me that I could suspend the account and start it up again.We were back to a place that we could start doing the gauntlet again and I updated my information, put in the new payment information. I did not see where we could restart the account so I emailed them. Within 10 minutes, they had charged me $100. I had emailed them and asked how I could start the plan up again. I recieved an email stating that they would not be able to start the account back up. So evidentially I am stuck with a product that is 90% completed (only had the fingers to go) and out the $2000 that I have paid.UPDATE: Be careful that you do not have to miss a payment or have to suspend for any reason. You will be out everything that you had already put in.After going back and forth with a rep via email, they will not give me an answer as to why I cannot reinstate. The rep, Mario B stated "We are truly sorry that we are unable to reactivate your collection. We understand how frustrating and disappointing this is for you, especially after spending over $2,000." I have requested to have my request to reinstate my account so I can finish the product and he has refused to do so. Just repeats that they will not open the account back up. It was three months and was agreed by their rep.If you are thinking about using this company, just make sure that you will not have a financial situation where you need to suspend the subscription. You will be left with an unfinished product and out all the money you put into it. The only thing they will do by opening the account is get more money from me. I just do not understand.All I am asking them is to let me finish my last 4 boxes.
