DedicatedMC has certainly had its history, but that does not dictate their current standing as a company. They have upgraded their hardware and transformed their operations, and I foresee an even brighter future for them. My experience has been characterized by prompt support, excellent uptime, and management that is both understanding and reliable. If you're aiming to elevate your server and accommodate higher player counts, this is the hosting option you should consider.
Sadly i am unable to recommend DedicatedMC after my experience with themIt started with the server not coming online after payment. After contacting support and waiting approximately 2 hours the reason was that it got stuck in their anti-scam system, which i can understand if it happens.When the server came online i tried installing a modpack through their function which installs it straight from Curseforge.After installing it for 4 hours i gave up and contacted the support again for further assistance.This time it took a bit more than 6 hours until they replied to me that the specific function that they have on their portal does not work, which resulted in an install loop.Already dissappointed i had to head to bed as it was 8pm when it got resolved.And the final drop came when i woke up the next morning... They suspended the server as for some reason they didnt get their payment even though i had a receipt and everything of the payment getting through. Contacted DedicatedMC a third time to get things resolved. first it took more than 6 hours again until i got a reply with "Im looking into this now", 7 hours after that i asked how it is going, and it took a few hours to get yet another response to this.I ended up choosing another supplier, which took 10 minutes until their server was up with the modpack.
The company was recently acquired by someone called Mark, who also owns Hypere, they’re well known scammers and decided to charge my card fraudulently for £1,000, you can check his other companies reviews to see just how bad they are, I’d avoid them at all costs, They constantly say sorry and refund but never actually refund, and don’t forget the classic send bank details I’ll send the money now like 😂
The company has recently changed support staff and management. The control panel has been down for over 24 hours, and staff has no clue how to resolve the problem.At this point it is likely that all server data will be lost, as the team is not properly communicating on how to restore current inaccessible data.DO NOT purchase a minecraft server from this company. They used to be great, but aren't anymore.
DedicatedMC has the best customer support I’ve ever experienced with any service. It’s fast and staff are always willing to be helpful and explain as much as needed.The server quality is also great. With previous hosts, I would constantly be struggling with performance issues and errors that would seem to happen for no reason. But never an issue with DMC. And when there are issues, the communication that staff has with their clients is excellent and I’m never dissatisfied.
We have recently swapped to dedicated from shockbyte- and the comparison is NIGHT AND DAY! We were amazed we didn't have to pay 3 bucks for a ticket- yeah our bar was that low!In all seriousness the support is fantastic- and INSTANT- our transfer took less than a day! If the quality of the hardware is as good as we expect- this will be the best experience as a server owner we have had to date! Highly recommend!
