Faulty Dell G16 laptop — £1,734 stolen from a disabled customer.
December 2024: I purchased a Dell G16 for £1,734. The device was faulty from the start. Dell sent an engineer — the repair failed. The defect remained.
I requested a full refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
26 November 2025: Dell confirmed IN WRITING that my case would be placed on hold due to medical reasons and would NOT be closed. I have this letter.
12 January 2026: I notified Dell I was ready to return the device. Dell administratively closed my case without warning. Since then — only automated "no-reply" emails. No human has responded. No RMA. No refund.
I am a disabled person receiving PIP at the enhanced rate. Dell has a legal duty under the Equality Act 2010 to make reasonable adjustments. They failed completely.
I sent a formal Letter Before Action — ignored. Reported to Trading Standards (ref FS-Case-802259655). Posted publicly on X/Twitter. Dell responded in 22 seconds on social media but has ignored my emails for 14 months.

Do not buy from Dell. They will take your money, sell you a faulty product, and disappear.
