I was allocated a delivery date of today, 7th November, however I told Delta that I would be unable to be home from the office until 2pm so if we could rearrange that would be great. Delta rearranged (confirmed in email) that the new date would be Tuesday 12th November.I received a phone call at the office today that the fish had arrived, and that the courier was not a 'specialist livestock courier' as written on Delta's website. Fortunately my neighbour took the box in for me until I could get home as quickly as I could and arrived about 1pm.On unsealing the box I found one thin layer of paper, no polystyrene or bubble wrap to insulate. The fish were double bagged and had several small, rapidly cooling 'heat' packs in their box but the bags were freezing.I put the bags, sealed, in my tank to warm up and noticed that of the 10 fish I ordered, 5 were dead, presumably due to the cold.A refund would be appreciated but will not bring the poor fish back.Please reconsider Delta if you're planning on buying from them.Thank you.
