Misinformation and Aggravation

Unfortunately I attempted to purchase a product that was supposed to be a downloadable software. Upon check out, I saw that a shipping and handling fee was being charged. When I contacted customer service they said it would be removed on the back end. I did not care for that. I still moved forward with the purchase. After purchase, I was curious how long it would take for the download link to come to my email (it should have come quickly I assumed). When it didn't I once again called customer service and was told that my product actually isn't a download but I was actually being sent a CD-ROM. I thought this was a joke as we are currently living in 2025 but was told it was not. At that point I cancelled my purchase. I then called customer service a third time to validate that the product I purchased was in fact not a downloadable software and was told by this rep that it actually is downloadable and the information given to me by the second rep was incorrect. She told me the information I was given was "dated" information. No kidding. I still need to purchase this product for my job however I am extremely hesitant to do so given this horrible experience.
