I recently joined the Scotland trip with Desi Backpackers. Overall, the experience was just okay. The group and overall coordination were decent, and the trip was fairly organized. However, I felt the itinerary could have been planned better.Some important and must-visit places were either missed or rushed, which made the trip feel incomplete. Scotland has so many beautiful spots, and covering a few more key locations would have made the experience much more satisfying.With a more thoughtfully planned itinerary and better time allocation at major attractions, this trip could be much better. Hoping to see improvements in future tours.
Took a 3-day tour with Desi_Bagpackers to Scotland. While the locations covered were good and genuinely budget-friendly, the bus journey made the experience extremely unpleasant. The hosts played excessively loud music with flashing lights for long periods in a closed bus, which caused headaches and significant discomfort leading to a panic attack.Despite repeated requests from me and others to strike a balance with the volume, it was ignored. When concerns were raised, the response felt dismissive and ridiculing, and singled out that I am not able to enjoy it and it was “all in my head,” and that I signed up for it when I booked the tour. While group tours did come with the expectation of music and fun activities, the assumption was that the hosts would be sensible enough to make the experience enjoyable for different kinds of travellers, and that did not happen here. I was hoping for a peaceful, relaxing break, after a difficult six months personally and professionally, but this was not possible due to the onboard environment and how concerns were handled by the hosts (Neha and Shivam). If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing trip, this is definitely not the right tour group for you.
