I received a Cream Tea Hamper as a gift due to being housebound after major surgery. Upon receiving it I was so happy as it is a beautiful little hamper. I was expecting a visitor the following day so I thought I would share it . When I went to prepare it I noticed the cream was open and a stale covering laid over the cream. After letting the company know they offered me a refund for the price of the cream. Very disappointing as I am house bound I cannot get out to get more cream and what is a cream tea without cream? Surely there would be more they could offer . No companion for my circumstances just a email quoting "sorry would you like a refund for the cream" No Thank You! Totally missing the point of no cream to enjoy the product someone kindly bought me. Extreamly insensitive and lack of customer care!!!
