Having ordered an item from Switzerland, I was duly notified by DHL of a delivery date. As a result of Customs regulations, my item was delivered over a week later. The information provided on the app was extremely limited and gave me no real idea of the process or likely timescale. This was frustrating as I had important travel plans.
I eventually had to phone DHL several times to try and ascertain the delaying issue: eventually having got some sense, I passed this on to the sender; the matter was then resolved and I received my item.
I can’t help feeling that people at DHL would still be pushing paper around had I not intervened.
Someone needs to take responsibility if you wish to provide a better service.
