Unlike YESTERDAY when the DHL Lorry pulled up in front of our office, the Driver REMAINED IN his cab, and sent the notification that it was a FAILED DELIVERY at 12.14 as NO ONE WAS AT THE ADDRESS!!
Complete Nonsense - he could see people IN the Office!

I’m leaving this review because I’ve had one of the worst courier experiences I’ve ever had.

On 16 February 2026, I personally handed in a parcel at DHL Express London North East (Enfield), Unit 19, 0 Crown Rd, Enfield EN1 1TX. This was a high-value return containing camera equipment with a total value of £3,000+.

Waybill/Tracking number: 7358294952

Since then, the parcel has effectively disappeared. Tracking has not progressed properly and the shipment has not been delivered/returned. What makes this worse is that DHL opened an investigation and then closed it without resolving anything, leaving me stuck and ignored.

Because this is a return, my £3,000+ refund is now blocked, meaning I can’t access my own money. I’ve also wasted a huge amount of time chasing DHL, with no clear accountability, no proper updates, and no practical solution. This has caused both financial loss and serious stress.

I have proof of drop-off (paperwork/receipt and photos taken at the depot). At this point, DHL needs to either locate the parcel immediately or confirm loss and compensate fully.

If you’re sending anything important or valuable, think twice before using this depot/service until they can demonstrate proper handling and responsibility.

Having ordered an item from Switzerland, I was duly notified by DHL of a delivery date. As a result of Customs regulations, my item was delivered over a week later. The information provided on the app was extremely limited and gave me no real idea of the process or likely timescale. This was frustrating as I had important travel plans.
I eventually had to phone DHL several times to try and ascertain the delaying issue: eventually having got some sense, I passed this on to the sender; the matter was then resolved and I received my item.
I can’t help feeling that people at DHL would still be pushing paper around had I not intervened.
Someone needs to take responsibility if you wish to provide a better service.

My package is missing it was supposed to be signed for I was at home at the time delivery was supposed to take place yet my package never arrived and has been delivered elsewhere as the driver has taken a picture of somebody else’s door and without my signature I’ve called customer service many times and have been told I was going to get a call back which never happened

Although I do Not think I was slow getting to the door, I did have to get out of a chair and walk to my front door.
The driver was impolite and impatient
He already pressed the 'NO ANSWER' on his terminal--this then generated an automatic email and text asking me to rearrange delivery.
Regardless of his impatience He could see from the front door a big TV screen on in the lounge

Once located the shipment sailed through the process and was delivered within 24 hrs.

I recently ordered from the Tesla online shop, and the package was handed over to DHL for delivery.

I recently ordered from the Tesla online shop, and the package was handed over to DHL for delivery. I received the tracking number, which initially looked promising.
However, on the scheduled delivery day, nothing happened—no attempt, no notification, no update on the tracking at all. The parcel simply didn’t arrive, and there was zero proactive communication from DHL. No email, no SMS, no app push saying there would be a delay or any issue.
Only the next day, after I actively chased them (by checking tracking repeatedly and contacting support), did any update appear acknowledging a delay. This complete lack of transparency and failure to inform customers about issues is unacceptable, especially for a premium brand like DHL that handles high-value items.
I’ve used other couriers that send automatic alerts for delays or failed attempts—this radio silence made the experience stressful and unreliable. Very disappointing service; I would not rely on DHL for time-sensitive or important deliveries based on this.
