I paid $155 (plus some mysterious $17.50 fee that DHL collects) to have a small package shipped express from the Netherlands. It went great; fast from the vendor, fast across the ocean, then it hit DHL land service and what a mess. Even though it was only 80 miles from my house, it took them a week to get it delivered. It required a signature so I kept waiting around as each day the said it was out for delivery only to have that cancelled late in the day and repeat the next day. Customer service was absolutely no help as they kept promising it would be there the next day. If I have any choice, I will never use DHL again.
