DHL is absolutely the WORST delivery service in Portugal. They refuse to call you if they cannot find your house, and orders are endlessly sent back to suppliers. I have ordered my animal food with ZOOPlus for the last 8 years; never a problem. Now for the first time, ZooPlus used DHL and I had to find out on internet that they "could not find us". Nobody contacted us. And this is not the first time it happened with DHL deliveries through the Iberian office. You cannot reach out to DHL as a customer either. Their website lets you circle around, without offering a whatsApp or phone number. Every other delivery company we have ever worked with, simply call us when they cannot find our address. In Portugal, not everybody outside the cities has an address; calling half an hour before delivery is standard procedure, EXCEPT for DHL. NEVER use DHL!!
