Have purchased many Diadora trainers in the past but never direct. I buy trainers and indeed clothes from Adidas almost weekly and their service is fantasic. Surely buying direct from the manufacturer is the way to go right, what could go wrong?Placed my order on 02/01 and at time of order the website clearly states delivery in 3-5 days. Well it's now 07/01 and I haven't even had a dispatch notification. Filled out the form in the "contact us" section on their website but when you click send, nothing happens. Finally spoke to someone who couldn't have sounded more disinterested if he tried and I was informed my order hasn't even been packaged. When I challenged him that the time scale for delivery is 3-5 days, he said "yeah that's after it's been shipped".......what a lovely get out of jail free card that is. Absolutely false and misleading delivery information at time of order if that's the case then. What kind of company tells a customer 3-5 days for delivery but omits the fact that clock doesn't start ticking until they send it out? Going by that logic, it could be weeks before I get my order. The most egregious thing? I was charged £20 for delivery.....£20 for one pair of trainers. How on earth can that be justified?!Terrible service and disgusting delivery charges. Will never purchase another Diadora product again.
