I have been a customer since the 1990s and never had issues until this new company bought out Diners Club. I pay of my credit card every month, but lately they have placed a hold on the funds for 7 days every single month, even after my online Diners account showed they received the payment. This causes my other automated payments to bounce and is costing late fees. I can't get a good resolution to this ridiculous hold every month. Each time I get a different explanation. The quality of service has gone from great to horrible.
