Disastrous online ordering experience

I ordered an item online with a promise of next-day delivery, but instead received an email asking for feedback when no order had arrived. Upon contacting customer support, I learned my order had been manually canceled without notification. Naturally, the item was no longer in stock, and I was charged without a refund. If I hadn’t called, I would have never received my order. The care and inventory management are severely lacking!
