Where to start?
From the beginning I guess, the initial ordering process was easy enough, DIY kitchens checked the plan and made suggestions to amend the order to include items i missed, at that point I was very happy.
Had a delivery week which i was a little worried about because I was not given a day in that week when the kitchen would be delivered, I would be contacted nearer the agreed week and would be given a 3 day delivery window which was not ideal, I was given the 3 day delivery window so took 3 days off work, I was told the kitchen would arrive "Thursday to Saturday of the delivery week, between 8am and 10pm and the driver would call 1 hour prior", so for 3 days I waited and finally on the Saturday I had a call at 8pm telling me they would arrive at 10pm, they arrived at 10.30pm !!!!!
So my neighbours had to endure a very large lorry making lots of noise outside our house for 90 mins whilst the kitchen was unloaded, not very happy about that.
FROM THEN ON THE WHOLE DIY KITCHEN EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN THE WORST EXPERIENCE FROM ANY RETAILER I HAVE EVER HAD.

The 1st delivery of the kitchen at 10.30pm was on Saturday 17th January, today is Friday 20th February and I still have not got a complete kitchen.

I am currently on my 11th delivery.

1) kitchen arrives and I find damaged units and doors (you can't phone anyone you have to fill in an online form)
2) 2 weeks later some of the damaged doors are delivered, some of those are damaged too !!, another online form filled in
3) a couple of days later some more doors arrive, no holes for hinges - another online for filled in
4) legs missing, some replacements delivered
5) more doors arrive, damaged again, another form filled in
6) replacement units arrive, door damaged and door missing, drawers missing - another online form filled in
7) drawer fronts arrive, damaged and no holes drilled for fitment....
8) drawers arrive again, items missing
9) missing items arrive, still missing items
10) missing items arrive but still not complete
11) awaiting final missing items

I have complained multiple times via email and just get the standard "we apologise for any inconvenience caused"

So 11 deliveries and at this point I still have not got a complete kitchen, if you decide to use DIY kitchens you may well have a kitchen delivered and all is good BUT if you get any damage then good luck with getting it resolved quickly.
Luckily for me I fitted the kitchen myself but if you have a kitchen fitter then find one who has a lot of patience and isn't too busy with other clients.
DiY kitchens must think that I don't have a life and that I can just stay at home all day every day awaiting a delivery that comes between 8am and 10pm.

Some of the damaged items have clearly been packed damaged because the packaging was in perfect condition but the contents were damaged.

Think very carefully if ordering from this company because if you do get any issues then you will need to ensure someone is able to be at their delivery beck and call as you cannot choose a delivery day, or a time, you are given a day and that's that, if no one is home then that's tough.

THE WORST RETAILER EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD.

PS.....when you do fill in the online form or email them, they do not respond for 24 hours and sometimes when they respond they just respond with a question which if they read the email they would not need to ask that question, I asked for someone to call me but had a response basically saying they dont do that and I should email.
I currently have sent over 40 emails !!!!

My advice to anyone thinking of using DIY kitchens is to take their quote and see if Wren or Howdens will match it, especially if you have a Wren or Howdens local to you, we had Howdens match the DIY quote but opted for DIY, clearly a mistake in hindsight.
