Dear Dogs Trust Team,I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the lack of communication following my rehoming enquiry submitted on 26th September. To date, I have not received any form of acknowledgment or response, which is very disheartening — especially from an organisation that prides itself on helping dogs find loving homes.Having worked in the dog industry for over four years, I fully appreciate how busy rehoming teams can be. However, even a brief confirmation or update would have gone a long way. Sadly, my experience has made me question whether Dogs Trust has become more focused on operating as a business rather than a charity genuinely dedicated to rehoming and animal welfare.It’s disappointing to see that while so many dogs need homes, people like myself who are ready and experienced to provide one are left without any communication. I now understand why many individuals choose to rehome dogs from abroad, such as Romanian street dogs, instead of through UK-based charities.I would appreciate a response to this message, along with clarification as to why my enquiry was not acknowledged.Kind regards,Ben Cook
