A few times a week I venture down the hill to the Dollarama at the Port Place Mall in Nanaimo. I’m pleased to shop and support a Canadian owned company. I feel a sense of Canadian pride. “My Dollarama” is clean, bright, and well organized. What I really value at “My Dollarama” is the employee, Jenny. Jenny is more than a cashier. She’s a friendly face, with a kind word, and a pleasant greeting. What makes this employee excellent is her retail service. Jenny is a multitasker. She works two tills at a time keeping the line moving quickly. “Good to go.” is what she says to the client as she jumps to the adjacent till ringing up the next person. The line moves quickly.Jenny is an amazing employee and deserves acknowledgement from the corporation and a prize for her commitment to cheerful customer service. I always look forward to the next Dollarma shopping experience and my encounter with Jenny.
