I am a long time silk sleep mask wearer. I saw an ad for these masks on social media and decided to give it a try. I ordered on January 15 and did receive it within a week I believe. I liked the look of it so well I ordered a second one. The mask is very cute and comfortable except the Velcro needs to be placed on the mask with the loops facing away from your head so hair doesn’t get caught. After only using it for 3 weeks I noticed a hole in the seam at the bridge of the nose. I contacted customer service on February 17 and after sending a picture and a video at their request I was offered a return of 10% of the purchase price. It was suggested that I take that 10% ($4.00) to a tailor to repair the mask. Really? First off I bought what I expect to be a quality product and I’m now told to take time out of my day, the cost of gas and the $4.00 to have it repaired. Well I repaired it myself. I have sewn most of my life and can tell you that the problem was that the seam had been sewn right in the edge without enough fabric. Although I have repaired it I don’t expect it to last. I have mulberry silk masks that I have purchased in the past for about a quarter of the price and they are good as new even after years of wear. Yes, they were made in China, but so are these so…..Honestly had there been an “I’m so sorry let us make this right”, I would not have written this. This is the review you deserve when you insult someone by offering them $4.00.
