It is firm yet sufficiently soft for one's head to sink into; it is comfortable and fits the contour of one's shoulder; it is pillow-case size so one doesn't have to purchase a different pillow case; and it holds the head in straight alignment from the torso while supporting the neck well. Furthermore, my communication with the customer service team was also excellent! They responded quickly, courteously, and were helpful in every way!
