I collaborated with friends to purchase a cookie cake for another friend's special birthday. The platform indicated a delivery timeframe of 1-3 business days, so I opted for the maximum of 3 days to avoid having a late cake. Unfortunately, it took 5 working days to arrive, resulting in a very pricey cake that was 2 days late! I reached out to the support team, explaining that we had to buy another cake in the meantime and requested a refund due to the delay. However, I was informed that the 1-3 days is just a guideline and not a guarantee for delivery. While this may be mentioned in their terms and conditions, it is incredibly frustrating to have spent £20 on a birthday cake that we had to purchase twice, and to feel that customer service was indifferent.
