Easy to navigate, quick to use, and high quality audio- i use this to download music i can't otherwise stream. Also no horrible pop ups! Occasional ads but non-intrusive. Sometimes you have to reload to return to the link page, but it's not an issue at all.

Browser hijacker in their chrome web store extension.

The Free Media Downloader at Downr.org only allows you to export at 360p resolution, unless you install the Downr Extension via CRX Launch on the Chrome Web Store.And either the Downr Extension or CRX Launch includes a browser hijacker to Yahoo..They funnel you towards downloading the extension by limiting functionality on their website so they can get you with the browser hijacker and who knows what else..I don't recommend using this.

Download links are platform links…

Download links are platform links themselves, so there's no slowness in download. And for youtube download, I'm using their browser extension. No problems faced so far apart from occasional glitch with large files.
