Had a delivery scheduled. Delivery driver takes a picture of the building entrance and crops out the intercom. He then calls me one time at 9:03am and by 9:05am when I go outside he’s gone. DPD won’t even use a call box to try and deliver. Their drivers are so lazy they use the app to call and unless you come outside and come to them, they drive off and claim they had no access. They even go out of their way to try and make it seem as though they tried to deliver and couldn’t. Why would he upload proof and then crop out the callbox? Because he wanted it to appear he was behind a locked door and I didn’t answer. When really he should’ve gotten out of his car and rang the flat. Not rely on a single phone call at 9am and then drive off a minute later. I advise anyone who needs a delivery service not to use DPD as your customers will be inconvenienced and DPD will embarrass you with their service! I also checked their website and it says you can call to file a complaint. Yet 4 different DPD staff refused to file a complaint. Claiming they can’t file a formal complaint and all the managers are busy. Saying all they can do is make a note of how I feel and the failed delivery but they can’t file a complaint. So I’ve now contacted the seller telling them not to send DOD back to my house. Either use a different courier or cancel the delivery.
