I received an email early afternoon advising that my delivery was due between 19:59 and 20:59.
I work shifts and I'm also currently pregnant and this was a bit late of a delivery window for me. I also live in a secure entry block of flats and access is granted via a buzzer. However, I waited up for the delivery until 21:40 and eventually had to turn off my buzzer and go to bed.
Received a txt from DPD closer to 22:00 to advise my delivery was back at the depot. The next day they didn’t even try gaining access to my property they just stuck a card through our main block door (not even my door) to say they couldn’t deliver my parcel. I was home! Absolutely appalling and disgusting service and I’ve asked the company I bought the item from for a refund. DPD are the new Hermes, they don’t give a crap about the customer!
