Review Time
The driver for DPD today was lazy and took the easy option of placing the package in.my safe place with out once knocking or ringing to door bell, as I stood on the door step he passed and was surprised to see me when asked where my delivery was his reply was in your safe space, he even put on his log that it was received by myself which is incorrect. Trying to raise a complaint on the DPD site is like pulling teeth talking to a chat bot, it took me five attempts to be put thru to someone
Lazy driver im virtually sat in my window waiting watching TV 3 feet away from my door. No knock no delivery card NO attempt. Instead my item is at a collection point. Its not windy or raining and no dogs are out so what is the excuse? Lazy Lazy Lazy.
You’d think DPD would check in on the reviews or perhaps they can’t bare to see the reality of how awful they are. Delivery driver 14 sent a photo of completely the wrong house, wrong road, wrong everything and said they were sorry they were unable to deliver, no kidding! Then they’re coming back to try tomorrow, do they get the right address on the 2nd attempt I wonder? No surprise you can’t speak to an actual person but advised to download their app to leave ‘my postal options’. So I have and if they deliver, I will delete their app and not purchase anything from any company that uses them or come to that who use Evri.
We were expecting a package two days ago in France. Each day, we receive a message saying that the package is out for delivery, yet no one arrives. We've attempted to call multiple times, but there's no response or callback. If anyone from the delivery service sees this, please consider the customer experience offered by another provider. It's on a completely different level!
For the past 40 days, I've been trying to locate my parcel. I have sent multiple emails and called every number available, only to be left on hold for 19 minutes. They charged me for the wait, and when they finally answered, they had no information about my parcel and directed me to another number. It's disappointing that I can't share screenshots from their tracking system to illustrate the lack of updates when entering my tracking numbers.
After being unwell with a viral infection for several weeks, I wanted to make sure my cats had enough food until I could get to the shops to restock - yes, they're spoiled - so I ordered online with next day delivery. Unfortunately, the courier turned out to be DPD. I received a notification saying - YOU WEREN'T HOME WHEN WE CALLED. This is ridiculous. I was waiting in my garden for the driver. I contacted DPD Local and went through the usual frustrations - even the call handler acknowledged the inaccuracies in the driver's report. He wasn’t even in my street when he canceled the delivery. Maybe he was cold - well, tough luck, it's winter in the UK. Another escalation. Another waste of my time. I had to go shopping after all. Now I'm out of pocket. It might be time to start penalizing these companies when drivers act so irresponsibly. Currently, there's little to discourage this behavior. Both Amazon and DPD are among the worst in this regard. I stopped using Amazon in 2023. I never personally use DPD, but sometimes it’s unavoidable.
Since last year, I've attempted to use various parcel delivery services in France. I paid €350 in cash to a service because another company could not assure the delivery of my parcel, even after I had already paid them for the same amount and additional penalties. The service promised to deliver my parcel to the UK for €350 but was halted by the police for driving with an expired license and subsequently arrested. The authorities in Coulommiers, where the parcel is held, demanded €300 from me, and the delivery service asked for another €200 for transport from France to the UK. Now, I find myself being blackmailed again. I am unsure of the legal steps to take, especially considering that these individuals seem indifferent to the law. Without funds, my parcel remains in custody at the police station. Who should I report this to? There is no clear procedure or compliance, and refunds are not issued even when the situation is not your fault. If the parcel is not delivered on time, you are penalized. In the UK, a similar parcel would cost a maximum of £15, but in France, there seems to be no cap.
These parcel delivery companies DPD, Collisimmo, La Poste, Marichal Logistics and the French authorities i.e customs people in Calais, Lillie and Coulommiers with all this company couldn't deliver my parcel of about 130gm to UK from Coulommiers France.
I wasn't given a tracking number or reference number because my parcel content was debit card and account documents.
All the delivery companies charged me extra because of the contents in my parcel.
They still could not deliver my parcel even if I paid cash each time €350 for penalties, Insurance, express delivery etc etc.
I have paid cash by bank transfer to a RIB in total €4000+ to these companies but without any success.
The payment had to be cash most of the time so it doesn't show and the most common payments were for Penalties and Tax.
I have all the evidence of money transfer to there choices of accounts.
My said parcel have been going up and down from Calais to Coulommiers so many times because I didn't pay penalties.
I was informed that I have to get my parcel Registered by Law and Legalized in the court at a cost of €200+650+350=1200.
I have never known so much corruption among all these couriers and custom people and so bad it's unbelievable.
My parcel is still in France with my card and my documents.
This has been going on since September 2025 and still ongoing.
The parcel contains my BNP Paribas Bank card and documents and the bank have refused to help me because my bank said it's the French authorities problem.
My next review is going to about my bank BNP Paribas Paris branch.
Is there any one in France or UK who can help me get my parcel delivered to UK I'll be very grateful.
My said parcel is currently in France with the financial/economic Police in Coulommiers office and they want €400 to release my parcel but I still have to pay extra to get my parcel delivered - unfortunately they can't guaranteed delivery from France to UK my place.
The true story to be continued..
The service has been quite frustrating at times. Just yesterday, the driver marked my parcel as delivered but then took it away with him. After reaching out to both the supplier and the service, he eventually returned, claiming he was 'confused'. I would appreciate it if the complaint could be removed! I spent two hours making a complaint, and I shouldn't have to spend another two hours to retract it! The parcel's value was £1,500, which is simply unacceptable.
