AVOID AVOID AVOID I paid Carbon Medic Ltd trading as DPF Medic for a DPF clean. I paid a £50 deposit in advance and was then charged a further £345 at my home, bringing the total to £395. The deposit was not deducted as agreed and additional charges were added on the day without being properly explained.The vehicle remained in limp mode after the work. Despite repeatedly asking, I was not provided with an invoice breakdown, diagnostic report, receipts, or any clear evidence that the work had actually been carried out.Only after raising a dispute did the company send paperwork, which contained inconsistent figures and still did not explain what work had been done. Instead of offering a refund or remedy, I was advised that further paid work was required.Communication was poor, concerns were dismissed, and attempts to resolve the matter were ignored.
