Will not charter again with DYC. We had a bare boat on Martinique with several severe safety related issues, wich led to a much less adventurous cruise than planned (we decided not to do island hopping under windy conditions with un-closable seacocks, unserviced life-raft, provisional fixing of gas bottle etc etc). I complained at the base and with the sales representative, both listend carefully, nobody ever came back to me with a compensation or even proper feedback. This is not acceptable for a >10k€ charter deal.In the future, I will charter at local/smaller companies - with the help of a good charter agency you can find reliable charterers everyhwere that are passionate of their fleet, maintain their boats professionally and are grateful for feedback.I am an experienced skipper with a long charter history. I am usually very tolerant with minor defects, travel with my own tool set and lots of equipment.UPDATE Feb,27: I filled in their questionaire (the third one in this matter), received an hectic but otherwise useless mail by one of their employees and that's it, "investigation" done. Despite some really friendly people working at DYC, the company obviously is not interested in (or capable of) a good customer relationship management. Very disapointing!
