Rented an umbrella from a hotel in Glasgow. Returned it less than 24 hours later. Today, I received an unexpected additional £18 charge. I have contacted customer services. Update (11/11/2025): I have now been refunded the £18 and the rental charge. I’m not sure what happened — perhaps a software issue that didn’t recognize the returned umbrella? I’m glad I have notifications on my bank account; otherwise, this would have gone unnoticed.
