DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM THIS BRANCH OF DRIVALIA. I rented a car for 10 days in June. Everything was fine on pick up. The problem came when 2 months later I LUCKILY saw a charge of £350 (in addition to our rental charge already paid that was only £165). I tried multiple different email/ digital communication methods to ask what this charge was with no response. I was then forced to call the branch from New Zealand, where I live and I was informed that there was a ‘small damage’ to the rear bumper. It took 5 further phone calls and 2 weeks to get anyone to send any proof, and what was provided were photos which didn’t show any clear damage. We were so careful and did not damage the car. I am absolutely appalled at this service - it is actually illegal not to inform a customer when you are taking a payment, and above that there has still been no detail of the required repair cost breakdown for this so-called ‘damage’. Drivalia- please don’t respond to this review with your generic ‘contact us via manage booking’- I’ve gone through all these steps and I am quite frankly shocked at the terrible service you provide.
