Shuttle good, car not great

Shuttle from airport to collect the car was good. Two sets of instructions online - one said that the would track our flight and would collect us, another said we had to call. We called to play it safe. Return shuttle was also good. Car that we picked up was not in great condition. Lots of scratches, big dent in the rear passenger door. We asked how to open the petrol cap and they had to prise it open with a key. Warning light on the dashboard that they hadn’t talked us through. Considering the amount they charge people if they damage the car I’d expect their cars to be in good condition.
