DRIVALIA LONDON STANSTED SCAM ALERTWe were simply the victims of a scam by the Drivalia agency at London Stansted Airport. After fully prepaying our reservation via the Enjoy Travel website, the reservation was canceled by the Drivalia agency on the grounds that we arrived more than an hour after the originally scheduled pick-up time. We called the agency eight times to warn them of our delay, due to weather conditions that had completely grounded air traffic at London Stansted. The agency simply didn't answer our calls, and when we arrived, we had to pay for a new rental in full. Strangely, the vehicles available were much more expensive and only rented with comprehensive insurance, which was much more expensive than the one we had purchased online. This resulted in an additional cost of €567.39 on top of the initial rental price of €372.32! Obviously, we were never given any explanation for the lack of response to our calls to avoid canceling our reservation. This is simply scandalous!
