To keep this brief- to renew a D license it has taken me nearly two months, 4 visits to the drive test centres, 3 phone calls, and 4 email chains. In total SO FAR I have spoke to 14 people, and I am still waiting to be able to write the D knowledge test.I had a medical exam (that I paid for) that was passed by a doctor, however, drive test said it must be reviewed and I was to wait 4-6 weeks. It has now been 45 days waiting for someone to look at a piece of paper to see that I had corrective surgery at birth, 35 years ago. In all my quests to have some kind of contact or help of any kind I just wanted have the question answered: “how come my same medical results passed the first time I was tested for this license, when my medical history has not changed?”.No human has been able to respond to me, nothing.Nothing this simple should take this long, and no service such as a government contract driving license office should be able to stonewall and keep passing problems along in a circle where nothing gets done, its pretty abysmal for this country, and unfortunate for anyone living in this country to have to put up with.I have not been able to work while I wait for this office, this is not how things should work in Canada.
