Product let me down when it was crucial

UPDATE: The company has reached out and promised to send a replacement unit tomorrow. They mentioned being overwhelmed with emails due to the holiday period. However, a simple solution would have been to set clear customer expectations upfront, like an automatic reply on live chat and email indicating that real-time agents might not be available and responses could take some time. This would prevent unnecessary panic among customers. I appreciate their follow-up and willingness to improve their system, which shows they genuinely care about their products and customers. I will update again once the replacement arrives and I’ve had a chance to test it. INITIAL REVIEW: I was initially pleased with this dash cam. The setup was straightforward, the app connected well at first, and the video quality was satisfactory. However, after only two months, the Wi-Fi and GPS completely failed, rendering the footage inaccessible. This became a serious safety concern when I was nearly involved in an accident and urgently needed to access the recording — but I couldn't retrieve it due to the connectivity issue. A dash cam should be reliable when it matters most, and this one failed at that moment. To make things worse, I purchased an extended warranty for peace of mind — yet I'm still struggling to get proper support. Customer service has been disappointing: I emailed yesterday with no response, used live chat but waited hours for a reply, and still received no feedback later in the day. For a product costing over $300, this level of reliability and support is extremely disheartening. Customer service should be an opportunity for the company to excel and support customers when issues arise. Instead, this experience has left me feeling hopeless and unsupported — a complete failure in customer service. Companies lose customers over poor service, especially when problems occur. Right now, I feel like I may have wasted my money. I cannot recommend this brand due to both product failure and lack of support — even with an extended warranty.
