I was very skeptical about getting a surgery and nervous, I originally had my operation booked for February but had to cancel because of the earthquakes, when I told my representative Z, she helped me rearrange another date, with no extra cost. The prices for Dr. Pilus are very competitive, I did research before I booked my operation and there was no company in Istanbul that were cheaper. Anyway when I arrived it was very late, my flight was in nearly 90 mins delayed, and I didn't have any data or WiFi on entering Sabina Goken Airport to let Z know, I was panicking thinking I'd missed my ride, and how I was going to call her... she called me and when she heard I was anxious she quickly calmed me down, and said she'd send the driver back to get us. He picked us up me and my son, and took us to get some food ... he drove around to find somewhere that was open, and explained to me to eat alot before midnight as I couldn't eat after for 12 hours....Z was on my texts to make sure we got in the hotel safely and reassured me that everything would be okay... the next day myself and my son were picked up from hotel and taken to clinic where I had some blood tests. Z was with me and eventually took us to our room, she was sweet and welcoming, and really put me at ease as she could see I was very anxious, my son was very tired as we didn't get much sleep and she helped him get some bedding to rest. The Surgeon was very busy he came to my room, told me the consequences of me having thick skin so I could reevaluate my decision as my results would take much longer to show, he explained everything very quickly and shortly after I had my surgery... I asked for a very natural look, and though I'm only 2 months post op and my nose is still swollen due to me having extra thick skin I cannot even tell that I've been operated on. As the surgeon is very precise and symmetrical with his work. It looks very natural.... my family whom were against me getting a rhinoplasty are also very impressed with the results. After my surgery I had alot of swelling in my face however every step of the way Z ( Z helped me with anything I needed, also I asked for my room to be changed as the first one was chlostrophobic and they did it swiftly on my return. The hotel was beautiful too, driver helpful and respectful despite speaking very little English, which is the reason why I removed 1 star there were very few staff that could speak English apart from Z. However all the people the nurses and doctors were all very kind and attentive, clean and considerate. I would say if you are planning to get a surgery and you have a budget as I did go for Dr. Pilus, they have 100s of surgeries a day so don't expect to be treated extra special because at the end of the day you're paying a much lower price than you would else where, however Dr. Pilus have all the necessary solutions after surgery and are in contact every day. I also had nurses come to my room to check on me. You get results which is very important I feel that the surgeons themselves are perfectionists and do a great job, as whist staying at the hotel I saw multiple patients of Dr. Pilus and they all also had positive things to say about the clinic too. Thank you to all the nurses to took care of me at the hospital, I was a pain in the backside wanting my gause changed every hour, but they did it no hesitation. Thank you to Z she was so lovely even though she was so busy and hard working she still gave me alot of time and a few caring hugs before going into surgery for which I'm very grateful, she still replies promptly if I have any concerns at home, so thanks for that. And lastly thank you to my surgeon who I feel if he was in America would be highly sort after, he is very particular with his work and honestly I can't believe how easy he makes it look when you look at your nose it looks so natural. So thank you for that. I updated my review some of this still stands but now I cannot get a response from them. I find them to be very smart at avoiding responsibility especially when you voice concerns. I had tried to speak to them multiple times before changing my review however I get the sense once your surgery has been done, and you have left Turkey you're no longer a concern to them, and they treat you like a joke.
