So... now they kept the channels that would have been gone by end of December, but I'm not sure who they are fooling...
The episodes are old and repetitive way more than ever!! Makes me wonder under what conditions these channels were kept... RIDICULOUS! ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE OTHERS ALSO NOTICE. May as well not have it. Beyond frustrating!

Good service with room for improvement

Dstv offers a solid service overall, though I do have a couple of concerns. Primarily, it's regarding the music channels. While I understand the focus on South African music, it would be great to see a more diverse selection. For instance, Trace Urban, which used to showcase Western music, now primarily features South African tracks. It would be beneficial if music was better categorized to reflect its genre. Additionally, the cartoon channels tend to replay the same episodes throughout the week, which may cater to some, but it feels repetitive. New episodes seem to be a rarity. However, aside from these points, I'm generally satisfied with the service and hope to see improvements in the areas I've mentioned. Thank you.

Disappointing service experience

I encountered significant issues with service. A minor delay resulted in extra charges and disconnection. Even when payments are timely, I find myself paying more than expected. I'm looking forward to the end of my contract.

Help Desk needs significant improvement

I was not informed that my subscription freeze had ended, leading to my PVR becoming inactive and prompting an upgrade message. Despite multiple contacts with the help desk since early November, my issue remains unresolved. Verification of my information has been inconsistent, and despite paying all dues, I continue to face PVR issues. This has led me to consider switching to other streaming services.

Dstv has room for improvement...

Dstv offers a great service overall, but I do have a few concerns. The music channels predominantly feature South African songs, which can be disappointing. Even channels like Trace Urban have shifted focus away from Western music. It would be better if each channel could stick to its intended genre, as it feels repetitive to see the same South African songs across various platforms. Additionally, the cartoon channels tend to repeat episodes throughout the week, which isn't ideal for viewers. However, aside from these issues, I find Dstv to be quite satisfactory and hope these points can be addressed. Thank you.

Frustrating customer service experience

Service was interrupted over a trivial amount. I was misinformed about my last payment, and my chat with a representative was unhelpful, leading to an unresolved issue. I would not recommend using the chat option, as it fails to provide adequate support for paying customers.

I reached out to the support team for assistance, but they redirected me to other numbers without resolving my issue. I received a ticket ID that also went unresolved.

Refund request unresolved

I mistakenly loaded funds into my old account and have yet to receive a refund despite multiple follow-ups. Each call seems to result in a decreasing balance, which is concerning.
